Special Feature: Spotlight on Digital X-Rays
Our office utilizes the latest digital radiography technology for your dental x-rays. Digital dental radiography is based on the scanning image diagnostics used in the medical profession. The x-ray image is “captured” by the computer and transmitted onto a flat screen monitor in each operatory. A single tooth can be magnified to fill an entire 15” screen! This allows the doctor to make a more careful accurate diagnosis, and easily explain his findings. We use very thin sensors instead of x-ray film which are more comfortable, and require 50% LESS RADIATION than conventional film.
